Amazon Workwear Try-on
Hello friends! I shared an Amazon Workwear try-on in my Instagram stories last week, so I thought I would recap it here on the blog for those of you may have missed it! I was pretty excited about all of the pieces, and I hope you love them too!
This camel colored tie front dress is my favorite piece from this entire try-on! I don’t know why, but I always gravitate towards this color in the winter. This dress is very soft and comfortable, and is super easy to thrown on yet still look put together. The best part is that it’s only $24 and it comes in a few other color options, too! It runs true to size (I went with a small for reference).
This grey wrap front dress is similar in style to the one above, but it has a few differences. This one is a waffle-knit material, and it is a bit more fitted. This one also wraps in the front and ties on the side, and it has a bell sleeve detail. This one is $28 and comes in a couple other colors (runs true to size – I went with a small).
Both this blouse and pants are Amazon finds. I have never tried Amazon’s work pants, so I was excited to try these and report back! This particular pair is a pull-on style (described as having “tummy control”). They do have faux buttons in the waist, but there are no functional buttons/zippers. There are also pockets in the back. I sized up in these because I thought they may have a tighter fit, but they don’t, so I’d say go true to size. I also chose the “short” length since I am 5’3″. If you are shorter, I would recommend going with the short option. This blouse is also a great work top and the quality is great for the price point. I was concerned that the white would be see through, but it isn’t – I did wear a nude bra underneath, but you don’t need a cami, so that’s a plus! I went with a small in this one.
I am SUPER impressed with this drapey open front blazer. It is only $24 and comes in over 20 colors!! I am wearing it with the same black pants shown above, and I paired it with a simple white cami (a similar cami is linked below). This blazer can be worn so many different ways – definitely should be a wardrobe staple for the working girl!
Here is another way you can style the blazer for a business casual look, or an outfit that would be great for a night out! Jeans and pumps are linked below.
This green floral dress is an adorable little number. It has an elastic waist with a tie belt, and a ruffle hem with ruffle details on the shoulder and neck. This one is only $28 and true to size (I went with XS). This dress would also transition well in spring as the material is on the thinner side.
This pretty dress is black with a light pink trim. It has an asymmetrical neckline with a tie-neck, and a ruffle hem. I think it runs a little bit too long on me, so if you are taller, I think it would work perfectly. I also sized up one in this because I thought it might have a tighter fit, but I think I should have gone with my regular size, so keep that in mind. This one is only $30 and I love the feminine details and how conservative it is. It also comes in light pink with white trim which is very pretty and would be a great Easter dress!
I hope you enjoyed this try-on haul! Thank you for stopping by!
