Mid-Year Reading Update

July 16, 2023Shannon Aycock

My reading goal for the year is 36 books, and I have read 23 to date! I have listed and categorized them all below. Historical fiction is one of my favorite book genres, and three of my top recs below fall into this category. The Things We Cannot Say might be a close tie with The Nightingale as an all-time favorite for me. If historical fiction isn’t your thing, Remarkably Bright Creatures is a major standout for me so far this year as well – I absolutely adored this book and highly highly recommend it! Let me know if you have any must-reads I should add to my list next!
