Target Dress Styled Three Ways

October 14, 2019

You all know I love versatile clothes that can be styled multiple ways to create totally different looks. What I love even more is when the piece is super budget friendly! I ran across this $23 dress at Target several weeks ago and immediately started thinking about all the different outfit options that I could create to make this dress work for warmer temps as well as the cooler fall weather (which is slowly making it’s way to us, PTL!). This dress is right on-trend for fall with its mock neck and rust coloring. It also comes in a few other colors, including black which I have been considering grabbing before it’s all gone! I thought it would be fun to style it three different ways to show you just how versatile it is, and give you some ideas on how you could style it, or possibly even give you inspiration for you how you could style something you already have in your closet!

Look #1 – Chic & Simple

For this first look, I let the dress make a statement on its own, and just added a pair of mules and statement earrings. This option is great for work, or even for an evening out!

Look #2 – Cute & Casual

Everyone needs a denim jacket in their closet – they are a wardrobe staple and this one is a great price point! For this look, I threw on the denim jacket and booties to make a more casual but still put together look. This is one that would be great if your work is a business casual environment, and would also be cute for teachers! I think this would also be cute for any fall events you may have that are more casual, and it would even work for tailgating if this is your team’s color!

Look #3 – Layering with Leopard

Leopard is always a good idea! This kimono is a great, lightweight layer (it’s also under $20!), and I think the black really makes the rust/reddish color of the dress pop! I also added a black statement necklace (from Twine & Twig), and switched out the brown booties for a black sock-style bootie to coordinate with the kimono.

Thanks for stopping by and reading this post! Have a great day!
