Sweet Scallops

I just love anything with a scalloping detail – it’s the sweetest, girly touch, and I’m glad to see it is a trend that seems to be staying around for the upcoming spring/summer season. The scallop hem on this skirt takes an otherwise basic little black skirt to the next level! The description of this skirt says “mini”, but I think if you’re shorter, it’s totally appropriate for the office (I am 5’3″ for reference). It comes in several other colors, too! I am also so smitten with the Peter Pan collar on this sweater. It pairs perfectly with this skirt, but each of these pieces are super versatile and can be paired with so many other things. I am all about transition pieces right now, so I appreciate that this is one of those great outfits that you can wear now as well as into spring. This sweater and skirt are on major sale right now (like $25 for each piece!), so snag them before they sell out (note: when I wrote this blog post, the sweater was fully stocked, but as of today, it is all sold out :(.
