Playing with Patterns

I have a soft spot for polka dots…I think it all started with Julia Roberts’ polka dot dress from Pretty Woman (who else remembers that look?? also that is one of my favorite movies of all time!). I saw these black and white polka dot palazzo style pants recently and my mind immediately went to all the different ways I could style them! I posted them last week styled with the simple white crepe top with the tie neck in the back that you see here, but I also wanted to share another option for how they could be styled for both work and play! I thought it would be fun to pair the dots with a striped cami for a little pattern play. If you like to mix patterns, you could also pair them with a fun floral blouse! For a look that is office appropriate, I layered the cami with my favorite light blue blazer. If you are going out for happy hour or if you have other nighttime plans after work, you could simply lose the blazer and change out your earrings/jewelry for a totally different look!
