Blue & White Home Accents

September 6, 2019

Hello! It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post! Things have been a little hectic lately, so I’ve had to put blog content on the back burner for a bit. We are in the very final stages of our kitchen remodel, and y’all, I am SO HAPPY with how it has turned out! I cannot wait to show it to you all! I have used a lot of blue and white decorative accents in my new kitchen, as well as in the other living spaces of my home. The thing I love about blue & white vases and jars is that they are SO classic and elegant. They can stand alone on their own, but they also look awesome grouped together in varying shapes, sizes and prints. They also look so stunning when displayed in glass front cabinets or in china cabinets. I know a lot of you love a good blue & white decorative piece, especially the chinoiserie style, so I thought I would corral a few items I have come across lately! Keep scrolling to check them out! (The jar in the image above from my foyer came from Home Goods! I have found some great pieces there and also some at Hobby Lobby, so be sure to check them out, too!)

Ginger Jar – I bought this one! – I am going to display this one on my countertop and I’ll probably put fresh flowers in it periodically, too. The price on this one is awesome!
Blue & White Beads – I love decorative beads like this. I like to lay them on top of a stack of books, wrap them around the base of a lamp, or even buy several strands and put them in a small bowl. So many options!
Blue & White painted pumpkins – since Fall is right around the corner, I couldn’t resist sharing these painted pumpkins. How cute are they!? I think I need a couple of them – I especially love the gingham one!
Blue & White Spheres – I bought some very similar to these from Pier 1, but they are no longer on their website. A reader sent me these which are super similar to mine! I put them on a tray with other decorate spheres of different textures (think moss covered, rope, wood, etc).
Canister with Wood Lid – this comes in three different sizes and would make a great set, but they’re equally as great on their own. I bought the medium sized one and plan to display it on a shelf!
Measuring Spoons – who knew measuring spoons and cups (see below) could be so cute! These would also make a great hostess gift.
Measuring Cups – I snagged these for super cheap during the anniversary sale back in July!
Blue & White Pitcher – this would be pretty filled with fresh flowers!
