One Dress Three Ways
Hi everyone! Before I go into the details on this great little dress, I wanted to first say THANK YOU!! I have been blown away by all of your sweet words of encouragement and support regarding my new blogging venture. Starting Pop of Pippi and putting myself out there in this way has made me feel very vulnerable and somewhat out of my comfort zone, but you have helped me feel confident in my decision to pursue this, so thank you again, and I will do my best to not disappoint!
Okay, now let’s talk fashion! I am a firm believer that you can mix high-end and low-end pieces and create a great outfit that is cute, stylish, and won’t break the bank! This particular dress is from Nordstrom and is currently on sale for less than $35, plus it comes in a bunch of other colors (not all colors are on sale though)! I wore it this past weekend and it was so cute and comfortable. What I love most is that it can be styled so many ways, and it would be a great transition piece to take you into fall. I thought it would be fun to show it styled three different ways to give you an idea of the many ways you can wear it! I’ve tried to link each piece of the three outfits so that if you see something you like, you can easily shop it!
One Dress Three Ways
Look #1 – Sporty & Casual
To give the dress a different look and to shorten it a bit, I tied it in a knot at the bottom (I am 5’3″ for reference). I paired it with these espadrille sneakers and a simple little ball cap for a casual but still put-together look! I bought these sneakers back in the spring before a trip to NYC – I wanted some comfy but stylish shoes to wear while walking around the city, and these fit the bill! I found them on sale at two different sites – I’ve linked both of them below!

Look #2 – Fall Ready
For this look, I threw on a denim jacket and switched up the sneakers for booties to create a look that will carry you right into fall. Denim jackets are so versatile and the perfect layering piece – everyone should have one in their closet! I found this one at Old Navy during a sale and I think I ended up paying less than $30 for it (regular price is still great at $36.99)! I bought these booties last year during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so they are no longer available; However, I have linked two similar options below, one of which is a part of this year’s anniversary sale (note: if you are a Nordstrom cardholder, you can shop them at the sale price now…if you are not a cardholder, then you will be able to purchase them at the sale price starting this Friday).

Look #3 – Date Night
I added a lightweight cardigan, some wedges to give a little height, and a simple necklace to create an effortless date night look. Similar to the denim jacket, a neutral colored cardigan is also a great wardrobe staple that can be worn many ways – thrown on over a dress, or with a simple white tank and jeans, leggings, denim shorts…you get the idea! This one is by Free People and I found it on clearance for $60 (and it also comes in a beautiful plum color that would be perfect for fall and winter!). These Marc Fisher wedges are normally a bit pricey, but I found them on sale at DSW, plus they are an additional 20% off with code “yay20” which brings them down to $88. I also found a similar pair that is less than $50. Everything is linked below!

I loved how you showed this styled different ways. I especially like the comfy but still put together look. When I travel, I need comfy walking shoes while feeling like I look cute.

[…] glad that Friday is here! You all seemed to really like the post that I shared last week with the tank dress that I styled three ways, so I am excited to share a similar post today, with this one being centered on a beautiful kimono […]
