This is a pretty random post, but I thought it would be fun to share a few handy gadgets that I have purchased from Amazon – a couple are recent buys, and a few are OGs that I have had for a long time. I highly recommend each and every one of these nifty items. And if you are ever bored, go to your Amazon order history and look at all the randomness you have purchased over a year’s time – it’s pretty entertaining to see the broad variety of things I have bought there!
This box cutter is my most recent purchase. I got it right before Christmas, so it got lots of use since I was receiving multiple packages on a daily basis. It makes opening packages SO much easier than using scissors or knives. My only regret is not buying one sooner!
Folks, if you have pets, then you truly need this! During the entire 14 years that we had our precious pup, Maggie, and now in the past couple of years that we have had Oliver (our beloved cat), I have used lint rollers to get up pet hair. One of my best friends showed me this roller and I immediately bought one. With this, you don’t have to worry about using ten sheets of sticky lint roller papers to clean up hair. It has velcro that you just roll back and forth to get up the hair, then all the hair goes into a little compartment that you dump out when it is full. Genius!
One of my friends shared this about a year ago and I knew I needed it. It’s perfect for “shaving” your sofa, sweaters, etc. that pill fabric and super affordable.
This is a tool that I purchased a couple of years ago after narrowly avoiding many knife accidents trying to cut and remove the pit of avocados. This is the handiest little gadget and I love it! I pulled it out of my lunch box one day at work, and my girlfriends were all like “ok, what is that!?”…I didn’t realize there wasn’t that much awareness of this product, so I definitely thought it was worth sharing! This one also comes with an avocado keeper.
I DESPISE ironing, so travel steamers are my bestie. I keep one in my closet so it is easily accessible any time I have a piece of clothing that needs a quick steaming. I first started buying them in 2016, and had to replace my first two within a year because they both died. I got this one in 2018 and it is still going strong. And they also travel well.
