The Dress You Need in Your Closet

January 31, 2019

Well…today is the last day of the #31DaysOfWorkWear series on my Instagram! I hope you have enjoyed following along! During the work wear series this month, I shared my love for Tyler Boe dresses. I am a sucker for a good dress, and if I find a particular brand of dress I truly love, I will then make it my mission to buy it in as many colors/styles as possible (over a reasonable time period, of course)! Tyler Boe quickly became one my favorite brands for shopping high quality, comfortable, and timeless dresses. I still remember the first time I wore a Tyler Boe dress when I was out of town for a work-related meeting with several other ladies from multiple cities. I had SO many of them come up to me to compliment the dress and ask where they could find one…some of those ladies now have and love their very own Tyler Boe dresses!

Today I am sharing the “Kim” dress that I own in three different colors (I usually buy myself one each season). The Kim is a cowl neck dress with three quarter length sleeves and is conservative in length. It is flattering on every body type and very modest, which I appreciate! I imagine it would even work for baby bumps! Oh, and #ithaspockets. This dress comes in the softest, quality material, and I adore all the different patterns. It also comes in a spring/summer style called the “Kristen”, which is essentially the exact same style, just short sleeves! These dresses are great for work, church, conservative weddings, showers, etc. The price point is a little on the higher end, but for the quality and the amount of wear you will get out of them, I think they are definitely worth the price. One more thing you need to know – these dresses typically go fast! I usually snag mine at the beginning of the season as soon as they start releasing their new arrivals! The spring/summer styles are starting to launch now, so keep your eyes out for the Kristen or maybe even one of the other styles that they offer! If a dress shows as sold out on the site, I have had luck calling their main store and purchasing over the phone. Also, most Monkee’s locations and Hilton’s (in Wilson if you’re local) carry their line.

I thought I’d share a few pictures of a couple of my dresses so you can see how they fit. Note that they are older and are no longer available, but I’ve linked a few from their new collection at the bottom of this post!

This aqua and white houndstooth print was my first ever Tyler Boe dress, and it is still my favorite to this day. I think it’s probably about three years old at this point, and still looks brand new! Also, did I mention they don’t have to be dry cleaned? Another major plus!

This black and white windowpane print is a classic. You can’t ever go wrong with black and white!

And here a few of my favorites from their new spring line!

Tyler Boe has NOT sponsored this post in any way, and I will receive NO commission for sharing any of these dresses with you – and that’s perfectly okay! As always, my mission with this blog is to share my favorite brands and provide you with outfit inspiration that will ultimately help you feel and look your best. If I accomplish that, then my job is done :).

Thank you for stopping by…I hope you enjoyed this post!
