Fall 2018: The Coat Edit

It’s finally starting to feel like fall (and maybe even winter in some parts of the country!), so it’s time to start thinking about winter coats!  I thought I would pull together a few of my favorite coats, and I am sharing both casual and dressy options, several of which are on sale.  Don’t forget – coats make great Christmas ideas, too!

First up is this wool City Coat.  I love this coat so much, I have it in two colors from prior seasons (I have it in grey and camel).  It’s the perfect coat to wear for everyday with dressier work clothes.  It also comes in 8 colors!  I definitely recommend it in the black, grey or camel for a classic staple that will last for years.  It’s currently on sale for 40% off with code “2DAYSONLY” (sale expires Friday night at midnight!).  I think this coat runs a little on the big side – I have it in a size 0 and have plenty of room for wearing heavier/thicker clothes underneath.

How awesome is this leopard print coat!  The print makes it fun, but it also looks very soft and warm…and it’s only $64!

This sherpa coat is another great everyday option for wearing to work, but I also think it would look great with jeans and boots too!

You know I had to share a couple of teddy bear options!  I love this one, although it’s only left in a couple of sizes.  It’s also on sale for under $130 through 11/11.

I love this long teddy coat.  It looks incredibly warm, and I think the length makes it super chic and perfect for a dressier look.  This one is currently on sale for 40% off with code “BRSECRET40”.

I am kind of obsessed with this metallic copper down jacket!  It’s definitely different, but that is why I like it!

I have this coat in last year’s version.  I got it during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and it ended up being my go-to coat all winter.  It is incredibly warm – much warmer than some of the other more popular name-brand coats that I own.  I have lusted after this blush pink version ever since it came out, but it also comes in three other colors.  I highly recommend this coat!

Patagonia is always a favorite for outerwear.  I like the style of this coat, and it looks like it may be a bit thicker than some of the prior Patagonia jackets that I have tried.  This one is a classic in black, but also comes in a really pretty blue!

I am totally digging this camo puffer!  And it’s on sale for $70 right now.  If camo isn’t your thing, it comes in a few other solid colors as well.
