Crushing on Chenille

Hi everyone!  How has your weekend been?  Mine has been productive, which makes my over-achiever heart very happy!  We had an impromptu photo shoot on the porch this evening, and someone very special joined me – our sweet dog, Maggie!  Maggie is a chocolate lab and she is 13 years old – we got her when she was just six weeks old!  She is a very special part of our family, and as you can see, she makes any photograph 1oox better just by showing that precious grey face!

I am loving that chenille has made a comeback this season, so this cardigan was love at first sight!  It is so soft and cozy, and the color is perfect for fall – aaannd the best part?  It’s under $30 and comes in four colors!

I paired the cardigan over a black and white striped, long-sleeved swing dress, which is another piece that I highly recommend for it’s comfort and versatility – you can wear these dresses lots of different ways.  Mine is old, but this one is very similar, and I have linked a couple of other options at the bottom of this post.

These black slides are also a recent purchase – they are under $25, but sizes are going fast!  Here is a similar pair that is currently on sale for $40.
