Hi, I’m Shannon, the face behind Pop of Pippi!  I live on a farm in a small eastern North Carolina town with my hard-working farmer of a husband.  I have two stepdaughters, a 21-year old and a 25-year old (crazy, right!?)  We also have a cat named Oliver, who was a stray barn cat that has stolen our hearts and now rules the house.  During the day, I work for a financial institution and have specialized focus on credit cards.  I have lived and breathed all things credit card for over 20 years now!  You can imagine how stuffy that can be, so this blog is my creative outlet to share anything from outfits to home projects to fitness to travel with all of YOU!

You are probably wondering what exactly “Pop of Pippi” means, right?  My maiden name is Pipkin, and growing up, I was often called “Pip” or “Pippi” as a nickname.  When I decided to take the leap and start a blog, one of the hardest decisions I had to make was what I would call it!  I wanted something that represented ME, and would be something I would still love ten years from now if I am lucky enough for this blog to still be around.  One day while brainstorming, Pop of Pippi just came to mind and I knew in my heart that was it.

The mission for Pop of Pippi is to be a space filled with positivity and inspiration.  I want my readers to be able to visit this blog and see images and content that inspires them to go live their best life with style and confidence.
